DC Universe: Superman/Batman
Originally, my goal was to post 3 times a week. But won’t you know it, I was taken ill for the earlier half of this week, so I barely did anything at all.
I’m vaguely following Dustin Nguyen’s way of drawing Superman’s hair (check out the current run of Superman/Batman). The classic slicked-back look is okay, but Bruce does that too, so it seemed like a good idea to try pulling some fringe over Supe’s eyes. It makes him look younger, actually. I’m not sure if that’s a good thing or not. Probably a one-off experimentation, unless you guys think this way of drawing his hair works…?
Anatomy. Boy, anatomy. The bane of my existence :D;; I think I can spend a hundred thousand years trying to get human anatomy down pat but never make a smidgen of progress!
That’s enough scaring of people for one day! If I do work at 3 pieces a week, that means people will get poisoning from Avium!artwork 3 times as fast. Yay?
Brush-inking experimentation done as well, come to that. I think it’s easier inking with a maru pen, though.
