DC Universe: Jason/Cassandra
When I did the World’s Finest Gift Exchange, I lamented not having a chance to add Jason to the mix of characters to be included into the prompt. Then pervyficgirl suggested that I do a Jason piece all on his own. This is not quite it, but hey - there’s Jason, my favourite Boy Wonder, and there’s Cassandra Cain, my favourite female comic character. The 2, erm, outcast Bat-kids in the family for now. You know, 2 lost souls finding each other, blahblahblah.
I prefer the Tim/Cass pairing more, actually. But it is a chance for me to draw a female character once in a while. It’s not that I like drawing guys more than girls; just that somehow, I always end up drawing guys.
Here’s hoping that a capable writer will fold these 2 back into the Bat-family soon. Maybe they can even make Bruce adopt Cass. After all, he did the whole Intimidating Father shtick whenever Cass caught the eye of a guy in her solo series (e.g. Black Wind, Superboy, etc).
Original drawing was done on postcard-sized manga paper. Blew it up before I put it online, so some details may be muzzy.
Also, this might be an attempt to draw Cassandra, since I promised to send a drawing of her to cinieme :D;;
