I’ve taken much liberties with Iron Man’s armour. I just couldn’t find good, clear references online. Then I later saw that just about every professional penciller that drew him added their own take, so I figured I could just fly by the seat of my pants for this as well ;;
I totally screwed up the American flag in the background. The only reason I dropped it in to begin with was to fill up the blank space behind them. In my defence, this mistake isn’t as odd as some of those made by comic book artists trying to depict Singapore. Like in ‘The Authority’, where Singapore was drawn like a ghetto town. Or like in ‘Birds of Prey’, where there were so many artistic mistakes in the depiction of our island republic, I thought a screaming fit was appropriate.
