And this, people, is why you should not stop drawing for more than 6 months at a stretch (check the date of my last post). Not only has my pencilling gotten worse, my inking is akin to a fatality move on the final product :O All my technical pens need to be cleaned out before I can use them, and for some reason all my nib pens are not behaving. Or maybe it’s just my hand in the latter case.
I need to present some samples to the Association of Comic Artists today, so last night I banged out a few random characters. I figured I should show a man, a woman, a child and a senior. Then I threw in Superman for fun because I am trying to sell myself as a superhero artist (amateur, more likely!).
Random man, woman and child popped out of nonwhere, so don’t try to tag character names to them. But I suspect the senior down there is Bruce Wayne in the ‘Batman Beyond’ universe.
